Mufti Hussain Kamani was born and raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. His journey to pursue sacred Islamic knowledge began at age six. By the age of 9, he was able to complete memorization of the Holy Quran. To further advance his study of Islamic Sciences, he later traveled to the United Kingdom and pursued formal Islamic authorizations (ijazahs). For 7 years, Mufti Kamani studied a rigorous curriculum covering the Arabic language and literature, Islamic jurisprudence, Tafseer of the Holy Qur’an, Hadith, Islamic Philosophy, and Aqeedah. Afterwards, he was selected for a post-graduate level course in Islamic Law and Legal Verdicts, which he completed within two years. He later earned his graduate degree in Business Management from the University of Coventry in the UK. Mufti Kamani currently resides in Dallas, Texas with his family, where he is an instructor for the Qalam Institute and additionally serves as a Resident scholar for a masjid. His class "Prophetic Code" conducted by the Qalam Institute has been studied by thousands. Maulana Amjad Ali Qasmi completed his memorization of the Qur’an from Bayt al-Uloom, A.P. Indian in 1968 and then completed his Alimiyyah degree from Darul Uloom Deoband in 1976. He was blessed to study under some of the greatest authorities of Islam in India such as Qari Tayyab Qasmi (r.a.). He has served as the Vice Principal of Bayt al-Uloom, Suryapet for over 15 years and served as the Imam of Masjid al-Haq, San Mateo, California before moving to Chicago. Currently he is part of Rahmat-e-Alam foundation, Chicago, serving as the head of the Majlis al-Qada & arbitration committee as well as the Zabiha committee, and teaches Hadith and Qur’an at Darul Uloom Chicago.
Mawlana Mohammed Amin Kholwadia is the founder and director of Darul Qasim - an institute of higher Islamic learning based in Glendale Heights, Illinois.Mawlana Amin has written on Islamic finance, Islamic bioethics and on the exegesis of Surah Muddaththir. He is a consultant in Islamic law, finance, education and bioethics. Mufti Hisham Dawood completed Ḥifẓ al-Quran at the age of fourteen. In January of 2007 he enrolled at the Madrasah Inʿāmiyyah in Camperdown, South Africa where he in initials studies. He then went to the world renowned Dārul ʿUlūm Zakariyyā institute where he completed the final three years of the ʿĀlimiyyah program under the tutelage and mentorship of Shaykh al-Hadīth Muftī Riḍāʾ al-Haq who is counted among the world’s leading contemporary scholars. Thereafter, Mufti Hisham enrolled in a postgraduate program at Dar al-Iftāʾ Maḥmūdiyyah and completed his iftāʾ studies under Mufti Ebrahim Desai and Mufti Husain Kadodia. In 2015, he joined Darul Qasim where he continues to serve as a full time member of its faculty.
Shaykh Sa’ad Quadri is the imam of Masjid Al-Huda, located in Greenfield, WI, near Milwaukee. He completed his bachelor’s degree in English and History at Northern Illinois University and his master’s degree in Education at DePaul University. After completing his master’s, he traveled overseas to Zambia where he completed his `alimiyya degree, receiving license to teach the traditional Islamic sciences. Prior to serving as an imam, he taught in the Islamic school system as an AP English, Arabic, Islamic studies, and Qur’an teacher for nearly a decade. He has also worked with High Quality Education Consulting, with whom he has co-authored The War within our Hearts, Parenting…Who Said It Would Be Easy, and Wisdom for the Wise.
Shaykh Noman Hussain was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. After memorizing the Holy Quran, Shaykh Noman traveled to South Africa where he graduated from a rigorous 8-year course at an Islamic Seminary in Johannesburg, South Africa.Currently, Shaykh Noman serves as the Imam & Resident Scholar at the Islamic Society of Milwaukee in Brookfield, Wisconsin. He is particularly active in interfaith initiatives, youth engagement, and community outreach. He resides in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin with his wife and four children.
