Moon Sighting for Safar 1433

The Hilal Committee of Chicago has announced that the new moon for Rabi-ul-Awwal  was NOT SIGHTED on Monday.  The month of Safar will complete its full cycle of 30 days. The first day of rabi-ul-Awwal 1433 will be on Wednesday January 25, 2012.

Muslim Society Inc (MSI) is serving Glendale Heights and surrounding communities.

MSI is a complete mosque and all five time daily prayers are held regularly. MSI also has a Sunday school for the Islamic education and training for children at all level. Membership is open and all people from community are invited to join in helping us spread the knowledge and awareness of Islam.

A Beautiful Hadith

The greatest and the best moment of  a believer when He gets the companionship of Allah swt, HIS angels, -- when he recites Durood wa Salaam –-- i

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا

"Undoubtedly, God and His angels love, glorify and bless the Prophet. O believers! You (too) love, glorify and bless the Prophet and salute him with all due respect." (33:56)
